Screen for up to 50 Cancers in a Single Blood Test

Traditional screening methods often focus on one or a few cancers at a time. LucenceINSIGHT™ offers a more comprehensive and convenient solution.

  1. 01

Broad Multi-Cancer Screening in a Single Blood Test

Instead of multiple screening procedures, LucenceINSIGHT™ uses a single blood draw to screen for signals associated with up to 50 types of cancer. This broad screening approach is particularly relevant because many cancer-related deaths occur in cancers for which routine screening is not currently available.

  2. 02

Powered by Circulating Tumor DNA (ctDNA) Technology

LucenceINSIGHT™ analyzes circulating tumor DNA (ctDNA) — small fragments of DNA that may be released into the bloodstream by tumor cells. By identifying these molecular signals, the test may help detect cancer-associated signals before clinical symptoms develop in some individuals.

  3. 03

Supporting Earlier Conversations About Your Health

When cancer-associated signals are detected, LucenceINSIGHT™ may help support earlier clinical evaluation and appropriate follow-up investigations. Earlier identification of potential cancer signals may provide patients and their healthcare professionals with more time to determine the next appropriate steps.

  4. 04

    Simple, Convenient, and Non-Invasive

LucenceINSIGHT™ is a multi-cancer early detection (MCED) blood test that screens for circulating tumor DNA (ctDNA) signals associated with up to 50 types of cancer using a single blood draw.

  5. 05

    High Accuracy

In a clinical validation study, LucenceINSIGHT™ demonstrated an overall sensitivity of 80.9% and specificity of 99.2%. Sensitivity refers to the ability to correctly identify cancers when present, while specificity refers to correctly identifying individuals without cancer.

Which Multi-Cancer Early Detection test (MCED) is right for you?

LucenceINSIGHT™ screens for the risk of cancer with a sensitivity of 80.9%, which means that it has an 80.9% chance to correctly detect cases of the particular disease in question. It also has a specificity of 99.2%, which means that it can correctly identify when a person being tested does not have the disease 99.2% of the time.

How It Works

A Simple Path to Powerful Insights

We've streamlined the process to make cancer screening accessible.

  • 01

    Consult Your Doctor

Begin with a consultation where our doctor will assess your individual health profile, discuss any risk factors, and determine if LucenceINSIGHT™ is right for you. Consultation can be done in the clinic or online.

  • 02

    Simple Blood Draw

A quick and easy blood sample is collected at our clinic.

  • 03

    Advanced Laboratory Analysis

Your sample is sent to the laboratory, where the blood sample is analyzed for ctDNA signals associated with up to 50 different cancers.

  • 04

    Clear Results & Expert Review

Once your results are ready (indicating whether cancer signals were "Detected" or "Not Detected"), you'll have a follow-up consultation with your doctor. They will explain your results thoroughly and discuss any recommended next steps.

LucenceINSIGHT™ screens for up to 50 cancers from a single blood draw. It works by detecting circulating tumour DNA (ctDNA) — fragments of cancer-related DNA that tumours shed into the bloodstream. Your result simply shows whether a cancer signal was Detected or Not Detected.

It has a sensitivity of 80.9% and a specificity of 99.2%. In practice, that means it correctly identifies the presence of a cancer signal about 80.9% of the time, and correctly identifies its absence about 99.2% of the time.

It’s recommended for adults aged 40 and above with no personal history of cancer, and for those at higher risk due to family history or lifestyle factors. It isn’t recommended if you are pregnant or have been diagnosed with cancer within the past 3 years.

Traditional tumour marker tests measure proteins in the blood. LucenceINSIGHT™ instead detects DNA changes directly, screens a much broader range of cancer types at once, and may pick up a signal earlier than a rise in protein markers would.

Annual screening is recommended for most people, though the right interval can vary depending on your individual risk factors and medical history.

Turnaround time depends on the panel selected:

  • LucenceINSIGHT™ Core or 12: Approximately 18 working days
  • LucenceINSIGHT™ 50: Approximately 12 working days

Once the results are ready, your doctor will review them with you during the follow-up consultation.
